As the number of coronavirus cases continues to rise in Africa, governments in some countries are taking measures to help poor people affected by lockdowns and other restrictions.

In Rwanda, which has the highest number of confirmed cases in East Africa, President Paul Kagame says food is being distributed to the most vulnerable, although thousands of families say they are being left out.

As Rise of Hope we tried to help people because the Goverment aid can not arrive to every one who need food that why as NGO we do help them.

for the money we had we tried to give to one village but even was not enough. We tried to negotiate with Business man who has corn flour factory and he agreed to give us for low price even if other Business men are increasing the Price due to COVID-19. Please we need Emergency help so that we can give food to those who are suffering from hunger .

Rise of Hope  received donation of clothes from The Metropolitan Bible Church in Ottawa.

the orphans were happy to receive it, now amang them have clothes  an shoes and they are very happy to have shoes and clothes from Canada. In June one of our team went to Rwanda to distibute those donation.

Sewing Training Center

At the Sewing training Center, we help widows and single teenage mothers by providing them with training that will enable them to provide for their families. Among these teenage single mothers some were prostitutes, but because of Rise OF Hope they have abandoned prostitution and are spreading the news, they have a testimony of what Rise of Hope has done or what the Sewing Center means to them.

Windows as well as single mothers have hope for a bright future for themselves and for their families especially because they were not lucky enough to acquire primary education, we train them for nine months after the nine months training we will provide them with certificates and we are planning to put them in small groups and then put them in a business house were they will be able to carry on the business In different commercial centers. Many students and workers were uniforms.

Sponsorship can change the Child’s life, form $30 or $15 a month  the money  will allow us to pay for their school fees, uniform, school supplies, and a delicious and nutritious meal while at school.  This sponsorship program started in east Rwanda Province.

Burundi has more Christians and Muslims in the Cities  specially in Bujumbura . That’s why We decide to go to Burundi for Pastors training in 2019 and the training went well.  this year 2020 we are planning to go to Rwanda but we do need your support. 

Rwanda is one of the many nations in which people are seeking God especially because of the Rwandan history”Genocide”. Therefore pastors need to be strengthened, encouraged, supported and equipped in order to reach as many people as they can. Through these seminars Pastors receive knowledge which they need for a successful.

Many Pastors in the region did not attend the Bible College, only 3% of the pastors here I n Rwanda an Burundi are the only pastors who were able to attend at least a Bible college. The rest, 97% serve God based only on the “calling“.We therefore urge you to help them and Join us  by providing  the Biblical  knowledge to them  . We strongly believe that together with prayers God will use you and we are warmly welcoming you to Joi us in this short term Mission trip to Rwanda to offer Biblical Seminars to the Pastors in Great Region.If you are interested to join us for this work of God and empowering Pastors in Church leadership or Timothy’s training ,you are welcome.
