How to Become a Volunteer

No previous volunteer or technical experience is required to become  a volunteer with Rise of Hope. Rise of Hope will provide you with the tools and training needed to fulfill your volunteer responsibilities.

To be eligible for volunteer opportunities, you must:

• live in Canada or USA
• be over the age of 18;
• be able to share your idea to  others, to have a burden heart to the work of God,

  How you can help us and  the benefits of working with Rise of Hope

  • You may Sponsor one orphan  by giving her/him a financial support of 30$ a month  or just to give her a Gift .
  • With the help of child sponsors, sponsorship changing the lives of children, families and communities. Together, we provide things like, nourishing food, health care and education–the building blocks of hope and transformation. We invite you to witness this change.
  • Child sponsorship program is your opportunity to volunteer in a short-term project with long-term, life-changing potential.
  • See It 
    Join our team of Canadian volunteers as we travel to Rise of Hope  in Rwanda to meet children and families who are struggling with poverty.
  • See the faces, listen to the stories and get to know the children who Rise of hope serves. See community development work in action and bear witness to transformation as it happens before your eyes.
  • Live It
    Join in! Roll up your sleeves and work alongside community members as change takes shape. You may help build a sturdy house for a family in need, tutor children in English, or help plant a vegetable garden. And whatever the task, you will get to know the people, visit with sponsored children and learn how child sponsorship transforms lives.

    You’ll become an eyewitness to the impact of poverty and the amazing potential of partnership and hope. It’s a message you’ll want to share.
  • Back in Canada, you’ll become part of an exciting outreach—the sponsorship changes life where you’ll share your stories of the joys, triumphs and heartbreak experienced by children in need. You will have the opportunity to inspire your family, friends, neighbours and colleagues, to transform more lives through child sponsorship.
